Letter from our PTO President
welcome back to another school year
Dear Settles Bridge Families,
Welcome back to another school year at one of the best elementary schools in the state! My name is Chenin Kemmerlin and I am excited to be your Settles Bridge Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) President for 2017-18. This will be my 5th year as a parent at SBE and with my youngest staring Kindergarten, I will be around these halls for six more years. If you are like me, you cherish your summers, but as August rolls around you’re ready for the school year to kick off! I know it’s going to be another exciting school year.
The SBE PTO is privileged to work with so many amazing teachers and supportive staff and we are thrilled to once again work alongside our wonderful principal, Mrs. Sarah Von Esh. She has such an incredible vision and excitement about what the PTO and SBE staff can do together to make our school that much more exceptional. The PTO would also like to welcome our new families, teachers, and staff joining us this year. Last, but certainly not least…is you, our very important and supportive parent community. There is no better way to be part of the team than to join us in this effort by becoming a member of the SBE PTO! Joining the PTO doesn’t mean you are obligated to volunteer your time…it merely means you are in support of our school and committed to help ensure our children have the best learning environment.
Stay connected and don’t miss out! We have filled another calendar year with several fun and educational events and we don’t want you to miss a thing. Follow us on Facebook at “Settles Bridge Elem PTO”, on Twitter @SBEPTO, and on Instagram at settlesbridgePTO.
Have questions or suggestions? Email me at any time – email@example.com. Do you want to be even more involved? We are always looking for volunteers. Parent volunteers are vital to the success of your Settles Bridge PTO!
Thank you for your support of the Settles Bridge PTO!
Let’s make this the best year ever,
SBE PTO President
